About the book: 1966 / Amatuni Petroniy Gai was born in 1916, in the village of Proletarskaya, Rostov region, in the family of an employee. He spent his childhood in Armenia. He began working at the age of 16. First as an instructor in aircraft modeling and gliding, then as a pilot and journalist. Since 1953, P. Amatuni has been a pilot of the Ministry of Civil Aviation. P. Amatuni's first story was published in 1944 in the central newspaper of the Air Force of the Soviet Army. In 1948, his fairy-tale story “Little Pilot Piro” was published (Stavropol Book Publishing House), in 1954 - a collection of essays “On Board an Airship” (Moscow), in 1955 - a book about Aeroflot pilots - “On the Wings” (Rostov- on-Don). The fantastic story “The Secret of Pito-Kao” was published in Rostov in 1957, republished by the Moscow publishing house “Young Guard” in 1959 and Irkutsk in 1960. “The Secret of Pito-Kao” is the first book of a trilogy conceived by the author. It tells about the arrival of a starship to Earth from the fictional planet Guyana and the struggle that broke out in the capitalist world for the possession of the scientific heritage of the Guyanas. In the second book - "Tiunela" - the events take place mostly in our country. In the last chapters, the spaceship Yuri Gagarin takes off from Earth, heading for Gayana. The author becomes a member of the expedition and writes in the first person. In 1962, both books were published in Rostov-on-Don under the general title “Gayana”. In 1964, Rostizdat published P. Amatuni’s fairy tale story for primary school age “Chao”. “The Glebov Paradox” is the third and final book of the fantastic trilogy “Gayana”, but it can also be read as an independent work.
